• APPEARANCE: The Sideline electric fireplace is made for recessed in-wall mounting. It has realistic flames that resemble a real fire. The Sideline has 5 flame settings that range from a soft ember glow to an intense blaze. You can control the heat and flame using the remote control. It is designed to use either one log or crystal, or both together.
• INSTALLATION: Installing the Sideline is straightforward and can be safely attached to framing studs. The sides and back of the unit remain cool to the touch when the heat feature is on. There should be at least 8 inches of space between the top of the fireplace and your TV, mantel, or ceiling. It can also be installed in existing fireplace openings, but consult with a professional to secure unused gas lines and vents. The Sideline fireplace is ventless.
• OPERATION: The Sideline's heater can warm up a cool room or basement, but it can also be used without heat in warmer climates. It comes with a 6-foot power cord for a 110-120V outlet and is hard-wire ready for in-wall installation. The fireplace draws a maximum of 12 amps, so it can be used on a 15-amp circuit. Depending on the use of other electronics on the same circuit, a 20-amp circuit may be necessary.
• FEATURES: The Sideline has a realistic flame that can make friends nervous to touch it behind the glass. It includes faux-fire logs and crystals to create an authentic feel. The included IR remote allows you to control the flame color, intensity, heater, and shut-off timer. The Sideline can be positioned just 8 inches under a flat screen TV due to its front facing heater vents. It can be either hardwired or plugged into your electric source.
• WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. We recommend keeping 8 inches of space between your fireplace and TV. 2. The Sideline pulls a maximum of 12 amps. 3. The fireplace includes a wall-mount bracket if you choose not to recess it. 4. You can install the Sideline in an existing fireplace opening. It remains cool to the touch on the sides and back and does not require ventilation. You can use the Sideline with just the flame and no heat. 5. The heater can warm up a cool room but should not be relied upon as a primary heat source.
• ALEXA/WIFI ENABLED: The Sideline 50 Electric Fireplace can be controlled from your lounge chair using the included remote control, Alexa or Google Home device, or Smart mobile app. It can be connected to compatible smart home devices through the app for added convenience.
